for caregivers of infants and children up to the age of 6
Join us in a safe and judgment free zone led by experienced facilitators and guest speakers from Family Services Ottawa, Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre, Phoenix Centre for Children and Families, and Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario (PLEO). Parents will have an opportunity to share and learn from each other.
When you have a baby, you soon discover that everyone has an opinion on how you should be a good parent. Some opinions you may welcome; others you may disagree with. How do you deal with the advice you didn’t ask for? This presentation will give you some ideas of how to decide what advice to accept. You’ll also learn ways to respond when you don’t agree, even when the advice is coming from someone close to you.
When: Thursday May 6, 2021 – 10:00am – 12:00am
