Emily Jamieson is an enthusiastic leader with extensive experience in non-profit management, business development, communications, corporate partnerships, and philanthropy. With a over a decade of senior leadership experience, Emily has a proven track record in scaling revenue through innovative business development approaches and strategies.
Emily is currently the Vice President, Corporate Philanthropy and Community Engagement at CHEO Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CHEO Hospital, CHEO Research Institute, and Roger Neilson House. There she leads a diversified portfolio that raises over $20M dollars annually. Engaging the community through philanthropy is at the heart of Emily’s work.
Emily previously worked at Scouts Canada as the Director, Revenue Development. She secured multi-million-dollar contracts through corporate and government grants, oversaw annual campaigns, major gifts, and all fundraising ecommerce.
With a passion to improve the lives of others, Emily has dedicated her career to working with organizations that look to develop, support, and allow community members to thrive. She remains an active community leader and currently sits on the Board for Family Services Ottawa.
Emily has her post-graduate degree in Journalism from Rhodes University and a BA in History from Carleton University. She is a current member of Association of Fundraising Professional and is looking to write her CFRE exam this year. She loves spending time with her husband, Stephen Norton, and is the proud mother of two young boys.
