Lori Bender is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Export Development Canada (EDC). Prior to EDC, Lori was a Senior Manager in a global consulting firm.
Lori has guided private and public organizations in numerous planning and management initiatives to support the development, implementation and assessment of large-scale change projects. She has considerable experience in enterprise risk management and governance, business process management, change management, information management and internal audit.
As a change leader, she effectively builds teams to deliver new capabilities, and leads organizations to affect change and innovation.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans. She also holds a Masters Certificate of Risk Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
