What Is Music On a Mission?
“Music on a Mission” is an exciting music trivia game. Come dressed as your favourite singer, band or even song. Be the first to name artists, songs, and theme songs from movies and television shows from every musical genre. Round out the evening with networking, delicious food, drinks, a silent auction, raffle, prizes, and all the good feelings that come from fundraising for an incredibly worthy cause.

Melanie found new ways to be there for her children
Melanie came to FSO because her anxiety and depression were leaving her exhausted and unable to cope with family life. She was missing out on important events in her family members’ lives. FSO provided Melanie with the tools to manage her anxiety so that she was able to be there for precious family moments.

Camila and Samuel learned how to support their trans teen
Camila and Samuel wanted to support their trans teen and sought help through the Around the Rainbow program at FSO. They attended the monthly parent and caregivers peer support group and found comfort as they gained perspective listening to others. They felt less alone and better equipped to support their child.

Ahmed and Taylor gained practical knowledge about parenting
Like many parents, Ahmed and Taylor felt overwhelmed with the responsibilities of parenting. They were especially worried that their parenting style would negatively affect their children. FSO’s parenting course was just what they needed, helping Ahmed and Taylor realize that other parents had the same challenges and equipping them with information and techniques make them more effective.

Daiyu learned how to fight postpartum depression
Daiyu started to feel the ‘baby blues’ right after the birth of her daughter. Her feelings of dread and anxiety overwhelmed her life. She felt like she was suffocating. The FSO MOMS group made all the difference. She felt reassured that other moms were having similar feelings and learned important coping strategies for managing her anxiety and daily self-care.
