Just for Dads

Our Approach

Fathers matter.  Children with involved fathers are more likely to do better in school, handle stress better and get along better with others.  This group offers dads a safe space to learn from one another and get parenting information.

Upcoming Course Dates

Tuesdays, February 20th, 2024 – April 16th, 2024 (8 sessions)

Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Cost: $0 for CAS Client, $175 for Non-CAS Client

Where: Zoom Video Conferencing

Benefits of participation

  • Support with being a dad

    We will explore the role and challenges of being a father today along with developing healthy coping strategies and building support for your self.

  • Learn positive discipline strategies

    Fathers will learn concrete and practical skills to promote their children’s self-esteem, build a strong parent/child relationship and to communicate effectively with their child.

  • Decrease parenting stress

    Fathers will explore the root causes of child behaviour, child development and handling power struggles.
