BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Family Services Ottawa has an opportunity for one individual to join our Board.

The Board of Directors provides strategic direction to FSO to further its mission and vision. In particular, the Board ensures that FSO operates with excellent financial oversight, legal and ethical integrity, and overall accountability.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in our community and who shares our commitment to inclusivity. The individual should want to build a community where families and individuals are strong and resilient and have the support they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

FSO is specifically looking for candidates with change management, revenue development and financial acumen.

Supervised Access Program

The Supervised Access Program provides a safe, neutral, and child-focused setting for children to visit with their non-custodial parent. All visits are a maximum of 2 hours in length and take place on the weekends. Our Volunteers monitor the visits, record observation notes, and intervene when necessary. For more information on volunteering with SAP, check out our info sheet.
