Susan Edwards is a life-long learner and passionate leader in the development and delivery of educational programs. Throughout her 30-year career as an educator, she has enjoyed supporting schools and working with students, parents, teachers and school support service professionals as a Classroom Teacher, Learning Disabilities Specialist, and Special Education Consultant across Canada and internationally. Susan is dedicated to ensuring success for all children and their families with a focus on developing positive and inclusive environments that successfully integrate collaboration, learning, and innovation.
Susan is a retired elementary Vice-Principal who is currently working as a consultant and Instructional Coach for Maple Bear Global Schools that delivers Canadian curriculum to over 400 schools in 39 countries. She lives in Ottawa and enjoys time with her husband and three children. Susan enjoys reading, gardening, paddling, hiking, traveling and spending time at her family cottage and is excited to be a member of the FSO Board of Directors supporting Ottawa families.
