Amanda Silverthorn is a seasoned finance leader and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) with over 20 years of experience in financial management, cost accounting, and strategic analysis across manufacturing and service-based organizations.
Currently serving as Director of Finance at Lee Valley Tools, Amanda has held progressive leadership roles in both private and non-profit sectors, including the Memory Clinic and Saegis.
Her expertise spans budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, project accounting, and ERP/MRP systems. She is known for driving process improvements, optimizing financial operations, and enhancing decision-making through insightful analysis.
Amanda combines strong technical acumen with a collaborative leadership style. She has successfully led system integrations, implemented cost-saving initiatives, and improved financial processes that support organizational growth and sustainability.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Highest Honours) from Carleton University and a CPA designation. Amanda also recently completed the Foundational Leadership Course through the Stagen Leadership Academy, further strengthening her strategic and people leadership capabilities.
