Emily Jamieson is the Director of Revenue Development at Scouts Canada and leads a diversified revenue portfolio of over $7M dollars annually. With a decade of non-profit and leadership experience, Emily has a proven track record in scaling revenue through innovative business development approaches and strategies to allow organisations to maximize their impact.
With a passion to improve the lives of others, Emily has dedicated her career to working with organisations that look to develop, support, and allow community members to thrive. In her previous role as Director of Communications at Scouts Canada, Emily supported nearly 70K members, mentored youth, and secured media value at over $10M. With her experience of successfully implementing change management strategies, securing funding, and creating new opportunities for businesses, media outlets, and non-profits in other roles, Emily looks forward to continuing her work in the Ottawa community.
Emily has her BAH Journalism from Rhodes University and a BA in History from Carleton University. She is a current member of Association of Fundraising Professional. She also enjoys art, culture, and taking time to be outdoors with her son Henry and partner Steve.
