Lori Bender is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at FinDev Canada. Prior to joining FinDev Canada, Lori was the Director of ERM at Export Development Canada (EDC). Before EDC, she was a Senior Manager in a global consulting firm.
Lori has guided private and public organizations in numerous planning and management initiatives to support the development, implementation and assessment of large-scale change projects. She has considerable experience in enterprise risk management and governance, business process management, change management, information management and internal audit.
As a change leader, she effectively builds teams to deliver new capabilities and leads organizations to affect change and innovation.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans. She also holds a master’s Certificate of Risk Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
