Sarah Bissex, RN, PMP, MSc Global Health

Sarah Bissex is a Registered Nurse and healthcare leader dedicated to improving health systems for children and youth. With experience across provincial, national, and international organizations, she specializes in leading transformational initiatives that build capacity, strengthen service delivery, and advance socially responsible, sustainable outcomes. Sarah is now part of a national health‑care consulting firm, where she supports health‑system partners through strategy development, operational improvement, and complex change initiatives.

Before transitioning to consulting, Sarah served as Principal Advisor to the CEO and Manager of Executive Offices at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), where she led executive operations, supported advocacy initiatives, and cultivated partnerships across government and community sectors. Prior to this role, she was a Clinical Manager overseeing multidisciplinary mental health teams across Ontario, and she has also taught at the University of Ottawa on systemic health issues.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster University. She is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
